The ChocoWit Candy Company, was founded by Marolyn Rawat with the motto "Discover the Secret Inside.” This motto is what sets ChocoWit products apart from their competition; each individually-wrapped rectangle of Belgian milk chocolate created by ChocoWit is designed to be both food for the soul and the mind.

These cards are intended to uplift, cause one to ponder, or even pass along a chuckle, and are as much a part of the gift of the chocolate as the chocolate itself. 

"In 1999, I decided to combine my love of chocolate with a large collection of sayings about life that I have written down over the years," says Rawat. "I thought why not savor a moment with a taste of great chocolate while reflecting upon an aspect of life?"

With more than 100 sayings currently available, the cards have become something of a collector’s item, even inspiring Internet groups of fans comparing which sayings they have in their possession. These fans have, of course, boosted the overall popularity of the ChocoWit chocolates, as it’s impossible to know what saying any given chocolate will hold. Some fans even trade the cards, much like sports trading cards or fantasy game cards.

While the cards have helped to create the legend around the ChocoWit Candy Company, the real reason behind ChocoWit’s success has been their rich, succulent chocolates. Their chocolates are made from a company-created blend of only the finest Belgian chocolate as well as other natural ingredients, creating a taste that has been declared by chocolate lovers as very, very smooth. The depth of flavor is astounding, as is the subtle blend of sweetness and rich chocolate.

ChocoWit is continuing to grow its product offerings, which now are expanding to include dark chocolates and confectionary gifts.
