Ingredients
1 cup white sugar
1/2 pound unsalted butter
3 tablespoons water
Butler's Celtic
Collection Irish Chocolate Bars
Your choice of nuts: almonds, pecans, or walnuts
Directions
- Cook sugar, butter, and
water mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly until
it reaches hard crack stage (300-305F).
- Pour immediately into
jelly roll pan (cookie sheet w/ sides).
- Break 4 Celtic Collection
Irish Coffee Truffle bars over hot mixture.
- Once chocolate has melted,
spread evenly.
- Top with toasted chopped
nuts: almonds, pecans, and/or walnuts.
- Let candy stand and cool
about 8 hours.
- Break into small pieces
and give as party gifts in small cellophane baggies w/
Shamrock designs.
